Hillridge may collect information through its website about you, the general whereabouts and size of your farm, and the types of farming activities you do. We use this information as a part of our role in providing services to our insurance industry partners.

Hillridge works with insurance industry companies who may in turn pass information to their partners, related entities or reinsurers. Some of these are located outside Australia. In this case these companies may be required to inform you of where their related entities or re-insurers are located.

From time to time, we may use your contact details to send you marketing communications including offers, updates and newsletters that are relevant to the services we provide if you have provided us with your contact details. How does Hillridge hold and protect your information?

Hillridge only stores customer information on servers located in Australian operated by providers who are also regulated by the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). We use industry standard protocols and best practices to protect information security and privacy. We keep information only for as long as is reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected or to comply with legal reporting or document retention requirements.

Disclosure of information we collect to third parties

Hillridge will not sell your information for purposes of marketing.

We may be required to provide your information to our business partners and services providers (insurance business partners, lawyers, accountants, contractors, etc.) as part of our business operations, however reasonable measures will be taken to ensure that they protect your information as required under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

Hillridge may provide your information to outside parties if we are required to do so by law.

How you can access, add, change or delete information about you

Upon receipt of written request by you or your authorised representative to [email protected] we will disclose to you the information we hold about you. We can change, add or delete any information that is inaccurate, out of date, incomplete, irrelevant or misleading if we are permitted under legal reporting or document retention requirements and if the request is reasonable. We will respond to any requests within 30 days.
